A Biomedical Engineer by profession, turned musician, Jyothi is a Mumbai based passionate drummer and a multi-percussionist. Her fascination and fondness for percussion instruments began at the tender age of 6 years, while being exposed to various temple music.

Her musical journey has begun by getting trained in Carnatic vocals for over a decade, which helped her to set a foundation in both Mridangam and Drums. By giving various performances at district and state level platforms in Kerala, she has proved her affinity towards music.

Some of her favourite genres of music are Carnatic, Hindustani, Middle-Eastern/African percussion, Latin and Jazz. Jyothi believes in travelling, learning and exploring the innovative styles and avenues in the world of percussion instruments.
