‘Rotre’ Narrates the Ardent Non-Human Love Story

Straight out of the genres in the likes of Bass House, Electro House, Future House, and Bass Music, the Bandish Bandits star was all set to release his instrumental “Rotre”. Currently critically praised for his musical successes in ventures like “Jhund”, “Bandish Bandits” and “Dhoop”, Devansh Bhatia aka DAWgeek released his latest single ‘Rotre’ on 14th February, this year.

Passionate about music from a very young age, Devansh chooses to go by the pen name DAWgeek as a fanatic of Digital Audio Workstation. Hailing from Mumbai, he has achieved his share of fame at a young age, through his dexterity with multiple musical instruments, composing music, and songwriting. His fans are privy to his involvement in movies along with his love for independent music. Consistently trying to make a difference in the lives of people through his art, “Rotre” is another such attempt to affect day-to-day weariness.

Anomalistic Tranquil

As described by the man himself, “Rotre is a bass-heavy mid-tempo track by DAWgeek. Inspired by his obsession with machines, this one carries big fat synths encompassing deep kicks and a dirty-clean combination of bass stabs. There are intonations of some of his dark melodies hinting subtle Indian-middle eastern influences.” This track is impossible for the followers of Bass or Electro to miss by any chance. The sole fact is that this composition is enough to produce the progression of energy for those who seek it. Setting aside the obvious inspirations, the music is descriptive and truly honest in its creation accurately engaging the audience with its heavy bass tone.

Every beat starting from the first minute makes you feel the groove driving into the sync of the track. The style of the music is extremely audience-specific, catering to the pop lovers evoking strong emotions. After listening to the music carefully one may find his creative arc at its peak. Almost nearing the one minute mark, there is a distinct but gradual beat drop inducing an effect of hypnosis captivating the listener to stay focused on the high quality complex sound. All in all, the distribution of an upbeat tempo brings about a sense of positivity and a strange rawness towards life, clearing the blurred vision. Tracks like these motivate onlookers to leave the garb of laziness and indulge in something meaningful in life.

DAWgeek has been collaborating with some of the reputed names in the industry, right from Shankar Mahadevan, Ajay-Atul to Siddharth Chaturvedi, Asa Singh and many more. ‘Rotre’ is a power packed electronic track to enjoy while on a road trip with your friends.
