BBXINDIA: REDEFINING THE BEATBOX CULTURE

The IBS is initiated by Beatbox India (BBXINDIA), the official organization promoting Beatbox culture in India. The organization is all about highlighting the Beatboxing scene through various engagements – Education, Show Curation, Championships, Beatbox Music Productions, Beatbox Workshops, Artist Management and more. 

THE INDIAN BEATBOX SCHOOL (IBS)

The Indian Beatbox School (IBS) established in 2017, is BBXINDIA’s division committed to Beatbox Music Education, interestingly, India’s First Beatbox School! It was founded in 2017 by Raka Vee, an experienced beatboxer with a 15-year dedication to the craft. Raka Vee was motivated to start the school after conducting numerous complimentary workshops and seeing the overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. “Numerous people pick up beatboxing skills from YouTube, but the learning curve is not stable. For certain individuals, developing the necessary mindset for creativity and performance requires years of commitment. At the Indian Beatbox School, we emphasize teaching methods to maintain lifelong creativity and inspiration through structured discipline and practice strategies within a comprehensive timeframe for supersonic growth.” believes Raka Vee, Founder, BBXINDIA.

The IBS offers a structured syllabus that is rooted in solid music theory and techniques. Students receive mentorship from National and International Champions, and the school offers both online and offline 1-on-1 and group classes nationwide. The IBS curriculum is designed to provide students with a comprehensive training in beatboxing. It starts with breath rhythm exercises, fundamental sounds of kick, drum, hi-hat, C/K snare, and music theory and its application, and the course proceeds as per the learning capability and area of interest of the student.
